PaperHero is an intelligent document management platform that helps you upload, organize, and find your documents using AI. It reads your documents, makes them searchable, and lets you ask questions about your files in plain language.

You can upload documents by dragging and dropping them in the web app, using our Android or iOS mobile app to scan or photograph them, or by forwarding emails with attachments to your personal PaperHero email address.

PaperHero supports PDF, PNG, JPEG, and BMP files. When you upload images, they are automatically converted into searchable PDFs.

Instead of just matching keywords, PaperHero understands the meaning behind your search. You can type a question like "Where is my car insurance?" and it will find the right document - even if those exact words don't appear in the file.

Yes. You can share folders and documents with other people - family, friends or colleagues. You control who can view, edit, or manage each folder with simple permission settings.

Yes. PaperHero offers native Android and iOS apps for scanning and uploading documents on the go. The web app is also fully responsive and works on any mobile browser.

Yes. All your documents are encrypted, and only your password opens the key - even we cannot read along. You can switch on end-to-end encryption on top of that, and then the keys stay only on your devices. Two-factor sign-in comes with it, and everything is stored in Germany at Hetzner. We rely exclusively on companies from Germany and France with no US parent - none of them is subject to the US CLOUD Act.

Yes, you can cancel anytime through your account settings. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period, and your data remains available for 30 days after cancellation so you can export everything.
